Hire & Booking Our VW T6.1 California
We charge a flat daily rate for each month, with no hidden charges.
We work on a 24 hour basis.
For the months July, August and the Easter week, the minimum hire is 7 days. The rest of the year the minimum hire is 5 days.
You are welcome to begin and end your hire any day of the week, subject to availability.
Collection time will be 12pm, with return by 2pm, unless agreed beforehand.
Insurance
The vehicles are hired out with comprehensive insurance and roadside assistance.
Insurance for the main driver is free.
Additional Drivers are welcome to be added, at a cost of £25 per hire.
Hire is subject to insurance company approval. We will insure any driver between the ages of 25 and 75 with a valid Driving Licence.
Drivers must have at least two years driving experience and must not have had their Licence revoked or restrictions imposed. Drivers must not, in the last five years, have been involved in more than One accident, have no major motoring convictions or endorsements, except minor speeding offences, and no more than 6 points (UK) on their Licence.
Drivers must not have had Insurance previously declined, cancelled or refused, nor special terms or conditions imposed, have defective vision or hearing (not corrected by glasses or hearing aid), diabetes, heart complaint, any disease or physical or mental infirmity, or fits of any kind
No Pets and No Smoking is permitted.
You may leave your car safely at our house free of charge.
The Handover will take an hour, to explain how everything in the California works.

On confirmation of your hire we require a payment of £250 to Secure your dates, with the Balance due One Month prior to the hire date. These are non-refundable if you decide to cancel your hire.
A Security Deposit of £1250 is taken on the day of the hire, by Pre-Authorisation on a credit card.
We accept payment by Credit or Debit Card, or Bank Transfers.
